The street des Deux Gares is a small street between the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l'Est train stations, in the heart of Paris.
It runs parallel to the rue de Dunkerque and perpendicular to rue d'Alsace and rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis.
The two train stations are very well served by bus, several metro lines ( subway ), and the RER ( suburban line ).
An RER line arrives in Gare du Nord direct from Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport.
The neighborhood is popular, but calm.
By foot, in 25 minutes you are in the very center of Paris or in the gay Marais quarter.
There is also pleasant walking nearby along the canal
Saint Martin.
